Harold J Hotchkiss is a lighting designer and theatre production professional based out of Erie, Pennsylvania. He obtained his Masters of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2005. Since then he has worked in a variety of settings on a wide range of shows including musicals, dance concerts, and drama.
For the past several years Harold has worked as the lighting director for Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward, California where he supervises several budgets and works with students to provide lighting for all productions in the school’s Visual and Performing Arts department. At the same time he has also worked extensively backstage at Mercyhurst University’s Mary D’Angelo Performing Arts Center where he’s had to opportunity to work with artists such as Audra McDonald, Pink Martini, and Shirley MacLaine.
